About DMAC Ltd.
Dingle Multi Agency Centre Ltd (DMAC Ltd) is a company limited by guarantee incorporated in April 1997 and subsequently registered as a charity in 1999.
DMAC Ltd owns and manages Toxteth Town Hall Community Resource Centre.
The 4 main areas of operation are:
- Providing affordable, accessible office space primarily for the voluntary sector, secondly for social/community enterprises but not excluding public services of community benefit.
- Hiring out a Community Hall facility to voluntary, public and private sector organisations for a range of activities.
- Organising and hosting community networking events, whether alone or in conjunction with other agencies.
- Running directly volunteer projects in specific fields.
Extract from CHAIRS REPORT DEC 2005 - Owing to the membership approving the change to our Constitution, this is enabling us to pursue with developing the "community consultancy" style service . In addition, we are reviewing our plans for 14 Letitia Street, which we have pursued and developed over the last 2 years, in the light of other planned developments in the area. A new Options Appraisal will be undertaken in the New Year to ensure that whatever is done to deal with the current blight of the building, will be in line with community needs. We are confident that these two approaches, together with maximising occupancy of the offices and use of the Hall, are the best way to consolidate and build upon the gains of the year. If we work at it, I'd predict full sustainability within the next 2 years.
